August 12, 1999, saw Saints' first venture into Europe for 28 years, and
those who went on the history-making trip to Finland were ever so slightly
keen to make the most of it.
Widely acknowledged as the greatest Saintees party ever in the history of
the world(!), the "Sunshine City" of Vaasa was turned into an all-singing
all-dancing corner of the Fair City as the word of the Sainthood was spread
like bever before.
Here are just a few of the pics that attempted to capture some of the
amazing atmosphere, courtesy of Steven Burns at the All Saints unofficial
web site...

The singing gets louder and louder as the Irish theme
pub "O'Malley's" is turned into Saints' unofficial
Finnish base

The customary singing of "Give The Ball To Roddy" gets
an airing

The alcohol might be starting to get to some of the
supporters, but at least MD Stuart Duff's proving
that yes sir, he can boogie

It's the day of the match and a march begins to the
stadium

The city's traffic is brought to a stand-still as the
Saintees park their bums in the middle of a major
cross-roads for a quick rendition of "Sit Down If
You Hate Dundee"
