Who are ya?
We're an independent fanzine publication written for and by supporters of the
sporadically-mighty St.Johnstone F.C. We were launched on-line in July 1997, and in
February 2001 took an unprecedented "step backwards" in technology to move into the
printed fanzine market. In fact, we reckon we're the only fanzine to have started out
as a website and moved into print, rather than doing it the other way round.
What do you do?
Sometimes lots - at other times very little, depending on how lazy we feel. In 1998 we
launched the now-legendary Biscuits For Scotland campaign, and in the following year we
masterminded the Star Saint Of The Decade award.
Through sales of our printed fanzine, we've also been able to donate cash to various
Saints-related causes and involve ourselves in a bit of club sponsorship. Most notably,
we donated £200 to the testimonial fund of injured ex-Saintee Alan Morgan, successfully
bid £245 for Allan Preston's last ever Saints jersey, and have spent around £1250 on
player sponsorship. At the moment we're proud to sponsor Darren Dods for the fourth
year in a row, and we also previously sponsored youth system product Emmanuel
Panther (now with Partick Thistle, but we try not to hold it against him).
Can I contribute?
All contributions are welcome - we're always on the scrounge for your articles, photos,
jokes, letters, ideas, etc. And if you've got any snaps of yourself wearing a Saints top
or waving a Saints flag in some far-flung location, you might want to take a look at

Why are there adverts on the site, you bunch of sell-out merchants?
Reluctantly, we caved into the pressures of capitalist society and added Google
advertisements to the front page of the site in April 2004. This decision was made because
of the spiralling costs of keeping the site - and, in particular, the forum - up and running.
We'd like to ask all of our readers to click on these ads as often as possible (whether you
then buy anything from our sponsors, or even bother to read what their sites are all
about, is up to you), as it's become increasingly apparent that unless this site starts to
generate some income, it can't continue to run in its present state. All cash generated
from these ads will go straight back into the upkeep of the site, and in the unlikely
event of funds being left over, it'll be put towards a worthy Saints-related cause such
as the sponsorship of a player.
